Well Ladies and Gents, it’s official – we’ve hired a real live, bonafied, certified (or certifiable?) full time winemaker. Drum roll please…it’s no other than Bill Kremer, who joined Olsen Family Vineyards as of June 02.

Bill has over 20 years of wine making experience under his belt, including a masters degree in enology from the University of California Davis, and he most recently spent the past 13 years making wines at King Estate Winery just South of here in Eugene, Oregon.

Anyway, we want you to meet Bill firsthand so expect a Q and A session with him here in the near future. In the meantime, here’s a little bit of wisdom from the man himself:

I consider myself a hands-on winemaker, and enjoy doing all of the various types of harvest work and cellar work during the year. My approach to winemaking is that it is a team effort. I believe everyone on the team has the ability to give input on the process.
